This Cuisinart Mini-Prep is a workhorse for small kitchen tasks. The 21 oz. bowl is perfect for prepping ingredients for a meal. The 250W motor is surprisingly strong; it chops nuts and herbs evenly. The two speeds offer control, and the brushed chrome looks great on the counter. It's easy to assemble and clean—all parts are dishwasher safe. My only gripe is that the lid can be a bit stiff to lock. Also, the capacity is small for larger batches. But for everyday use, it's reliable and efficient. A solid purchase for $45.
